A Coalbrookdale Lily of the Valley cast iron seat, circa 1880, re-slated in English Oak, this seat is a fine example having well defined stamps showing the registration kite mark on multiple panels, which relate to the pattern registration date of 8th February 1864. Also clearly visible is the design number ‘171578’ and the catalogue number ‘36’. The front rail is also clearly stamped ‘C. B. Dale’
