Of Circular form having carving throughout of mythical birds and beasts, framed within Solomonic columns and pointed arches, having a foliate scroll decoration to the top band and Greek key pattern to the base.
It is interesting to note that a similar cistern can be seen in the gardens of the Palazzo Venier dei Leoni Venice – now the home of the Peggy Guggenheim Collection.
